I am an NHS and private consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist based in Plymouth, Devon. I am fully qualified to deal with all areas of adult and children's ENT, but with special interests in: ear problems, hearing loss, tinnitus, balance problems & dizziness, Eustachian Tube Dysfunction (ETD) including surgery for ETD.

My other interest is in children’s ENT and I am the Lead Peadiatric ENT Surgeon at Derriford Hospital. I see children will all ENT problems, including those with complex medical or behavioural needs.

Whether it's sinusitis, hearing difficulty or a hoarse voice, I will listen carefully and sympathetically to your symptoms and concerns, and work with you to tailor a management plan for you or your child, explained in a way you can understand. Coming to see a specialist can sometimes be a worrying prospect, so I will do my best to put everyone at ease; with experience as a doctor since 2001, full insurance and a License to Practice, you can be confident that you and your family will be in capable hands, with the knowledge and skills you can trust.

My consulting rooms are at Nuffield Health Plymouth Hospital, where I see almost all adult and paediatric ENT patients. Occasionally, however, some private patients will be seen in the ENT department at Derriford, depending on their symptoms. If you are an adult and together we decide that an operation would be best for you, this usually will be done privately at the Nuffield, whereas all children under 16 will be operated on the NHS in Children’s Theatres in the Freedom Unit at Derriford.
